Best 2836-based 1016 available out of the box

What is the best 2836-based Explorer 1016 rep, available out of the box, based mainly on the dial?

Hello and welcome to the forum!

You're best bet is to do a little reading and search for "1016" in the Rolex section of the forum. You will quickly find everything you need to know. I am not a 1016 expert so Im sorry I cant help you there.

If you can find one, the MBW/MBK 1016 is the best out-of-the-box rep available. I'm not sure if the dial is available separately, but I honestly think it's better than any of the 1016 dials that Yukiwatch sells right now. That's really quite depressing.

Below that, the Trusty Time 1016 has a pretty good dial, let down somewhat by skinny hour markers and numerals.
