relaxman Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 On recommendation from Pamman I order a Hirsh Rally form Ebay (globalwatchband) for my IWC chrono. Now for my recommendation. Anyone wanting to sport up there IWC the Hirsch is by far the way to go. It truly does give it a whole new look. I never thought I would like the rally but it really is a cool looking, well made strap and for 37.00 its very hard to beat.
relaxman Posted October 5, 2006 Author Report Posted October 5, 2006 My wife just made a good comment. She said she liked how the holes matched the subdials.( Not using the word subdials but cirlces lol). It is true it forms a nice clean line of circles
Linder Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 No kidding. Nice observation indeed. I admit, it does look much better than I could imagine. Enjoy!
fotoman Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 i just ordered another strap from him for my jlc - the rally strap looks cool how does it compare to stiff/softness with like rep pam straps? i think i will go this route when i get my iwc =- sometime, after i win the lottery
relaxman Posted October 5, 2006 Author Report Posted October 5, 2006 Pho The strap is real soft after wearing it for only a few hours. It is a rather long strap however but works perfect for me.
Richard Tracy Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 That Is a Great Combo Bro.... ! Thanks for posting it !

jkerouac Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 I have a similar Hirsch strap on my Panda-style Speedmaster -- it's similar, but with many small holes rather than the three large main holes on relaxman's strap. I've been ambivalent about the overall look of my Speedmaster, but the strap really makes a positive difference. I recommend these two Hirsch straps to anyone with a panda or domino black and white dial watch. Note: That's a Web site picture, not my watch. By the way, I love that Domino style Portugese. If the solid black dial version, or the gold case versions do not become available, then the domino is the Portugese I will get. So I really appreciate your "real life" pictures.

THanks - its a great combo, i had really been looking forward to seeing this since it was suggested a few days ago. Thanks for sharing
PAMman Posted October 6, 2006 Report Posted October 6, 2006 Excellent photos. Having recommended this strap for the 'Panda' I was hoping that Relaxman would be pleased with the outcome. This thickly padded strap goes a long way towards any weakness of a 20mm strap on such a large watch. Wear it well.
thelawnmowerman Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 I also have a Hirsch strap on my porto chrono , its the Hirsch Modena , looks great and was reasonably priced.
watchlover321 Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 Whoa, I'm not a big fan of big puncture holes in my wathcband but that does look sleek and neat. I agree with your wife's comments about them 'circles' :D
relaxman Posted October 8, 2006 Author Report Posted October 8, 2006 I never wore it as much as I do now! Hugh improvement!
