vlydog
Does anyone know if the screw-in chrono pushers for a 6263 are the same as the ones used on a 116520?
freddy333
There were 3 versions of pushers for the 6263, the last version is the same that Rolex uses on current Cosmos.
jmb
Is there a source for "reasonably priced" versions of these?
wiesn089
I don't think that they are the same. To my knowledge 16520 and 116520 Cosmographs use 24-p402 pushers, while 6263/6265 use 24-p302 pushers. For reference a picture of a 16520 U serial and a 6265 with one modern replacement pusher and an earlier version. You can clearly see that the circular engravings (I don't know a better term in English) are very different. The 24-p402 has two engraved lines at the top of the pusher while the 24-p302 has a single engraved line at the top and one closer to the case (which isn't present on the p402). All modern replacement pushers on 6263/6265 Daytonas look like this, I have never seen one with the same pushers as a 16520 or 116520. CousinsUK has generic 24-p302 which are very good but no 24-p402. Here's a modern 116520, where you can see that they have the same 24-p402 pushers installed. omgiv
I did a good bit of research in pushers for my 16520 project. Here is the information that I found. The last of the 6263 pushers were indeed 24-P302. The 16520 uses 24-P402 and the latest 116520 uses 24-P502. I don't know what the differences are between the 3 but that is what Rolex is putting on them. If you are trying to get a set of genuine 402's or 502's, get ready to spend about $500 for a new set. I have seen a set of both come up for sale recently and that was the asking price.
jmb
I need some cheap aftermarket ones for a "project".
omgiv
Don't know what kind of project you have in mind but Otto Frei sells a good version. I am sure you could get a set from DW as well. How cheap are we talking?
jmb
Less than the $40+ Otto wants, maybe $10/ea? I got an assortment of cheap ones from Cousins but they are the press-in style...
