tah
I sent back a watch today because the date wheel was horribly misaligned. To send Express was $30 and 1st Class was less than $10, so I went 1st Class. Here's my questions: 1) Iif Chinese Customs were to seize the package would I be notified? 1st Class, not Express... 2) If seized would the Dealer assume responsibility, or do they only guarantee one-way (China to US)? In this case it's PureTime watches. Here's a tip for all............. When getting QC pictures request a few of the date from dead straight ahead. All I got was an out-of-focus picture of the watch on the timing machine. From now on I'm going to ask for the date cyclops displaying the 9th, 15th, 25th and 31st............ This was my first rep purchase, so live and learn. Edited March 1, 2011 by tah
KB
Usually when Chinese customs seize they return the goods to the seller anyway so they are not really the problem. Postal theft is the bitch that gets you. Ken
PeteM
Personally as long as I could prove postage..ie tracking etc I would expect the dealer to accept all the risks given the reason for return and indeed all dealers I know would do that..
