sotkfkd6324
Now I'm in big conflict whether I should buy this one. It costs about 250$ The seller said People won't be able to find the difference from Gen easily if they are not Rolex freak. Do you agree with him? Please tell me. Thank you! CaptainJack
Who's the seller? That can speak volume's about it's quality. Jack
Jkay
That's a Sea-Gull 2824 China clone movement. Did the seller charge you for real ETA or China Clone?
RolexSigEp
You can easily see the crown etched at 6 on the crystal. That's a pretty big flaw...
praetor
something is fishy, avoid this seller... the first two pictures are different than the rest of your pictures. Notice that the first two are rounded "S" submariner and the rest are flat "s" subs... ??? IF I were to guess. The first 2 area probably noobmariners, the rest look like wm9 v1s with a decent good crown. Edited March 4, 2011 by praetor
sotkfkd6324
The seller told me it's a swiss ETA And it's not a new one but a used one. First 2 pictures are taken by the seller. And next pictures are from the web sight that he had bought his submariner at. Edited March 4, 2011 by sotkfkd6324
Jkay
The seller told me it's a swiss ETA You can see the swirl design (pearlage) all over the plates on this movement, and also the fact that you can not see the rubies in the reversing wheels, due to the auto-winder plate blocking their view. This to me is the sign of a Sea-Gull 2824 clone copy of the ETA 2824.
praetor
the asian movement one is $40 for the noobmariner new >.> but a copy eta is worth somewhat more I guess
Jkay
$110 usd is a fair price for a noobmariner with clone eta.
Dizzy
Yeah there are at least TWO different watches in those above pictures. Look at the crown guards in the first pic and compare to the others. Not the same. And also two different dials as mentioned above. I would avoid this sale. Who knows what you are going to get. I also agree that that movement is at best a decorated clone ETA. Not gen ETA. They dont convert gen ETA's to rolex look 3135's. They only convert the Asian copy movements, and then sell them for the same price as the gen ETA. dizz
takosan
Yes, two different watches here. The second one is a tw/wm9 v1 with the flat "S" submariner. Im not sure about the first one. AVOID.
