Arrived Wednesday. Very pleased with this. I was after an every day watch that wouldn't scream for attention. It has the run of the mill Asian 21J movement, which already is accurate to 4 secs a day! For this price, you can't go wrong! Enjoy the pics.

Very nice piece! Does the gen carry a case bacl trhough also? Wear it well...

I think the gen does have a display back. Although the TAG website does not show the back view, I have seen pics on the web of gens with this type of case.

I have this watch as a Gen. It's my favorite watch!

This rep is very good, obviously there are some differences...

The date should be white numerals on black background.

The minuet hand is too long.

The watch is 5ATM not 3

The Crown is a smaller diameter and height

The movement is obviously different!!!

I'll try to post some pics for you...

Pic quality is not so good, sorry!

Thanks for the quick comparrison. I am now confident that I can wear this with pride, as only a side by side view would pick those flaws out (except maybe the date wheel)! Cheers

BTW does anyone know if there are black date wheels available for this movement (Miyota copy I think)?

Bump,

I am interested in this watch and was wondering if the movement is still treating you well after a few months.

Bump,

I had the movement swapped out by Davey a couple of months ago, for an Asian 21J but with a black date wheel. Watch looks even better now. Can't say about the reliability of the Asian 21J as it seems to be luck of the draw with these, but the movement Davey swapped in, is still going strong, with no problems.

Excellent choice. Very understated and elegant rep... very "believeable".
