@vric: Thanks for reposting this. I remember this post from the old RWG. Very nice (both watch and the pictures).

The "old stock" Blue SMP is such an awesome rep, I'll never part with mine.

what do you mean by old stock? would this be considered old stock http://www.jpc8118.com/omse10002-seamaster...8242-p-892.html? Thanks

Those pics on the PC website look like the older version but I doubt if that's what you will get. The arrows on the bracelet suggest pins not screws, the bezel pearl looks like the older (better) version, the CGs look like the older version (not accurate) etc.

I have one of these 'old stock' SMPs and, while not too accurate, it is an extremely well built piece that simply feels like a gen, bracelet included. I have a 'Bond' chrono and I have gathered up the bits to complete a gen-movement-powered franken to compliment my gen 2254.50 so maybe I will sell the old stock Bond SMP some day.

Watchdog is a member here. He won't work on watches before September, so look back later.

he is THE guy in Canada to work on watches :p

Watchdog is no more - he has been reincarnated as "Watchdog" ! ;)
