bateman Posted April 1, 2011 Report Share Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) hey guys, i've been scouring these forums in search of the best way to do a 6538 rep. the cheaper way to do this seems to be modding a josh watch.. so i'm wondering if 1) a yuki dial will fit his 6205 offering. (6538 isn't available) 2) the crystal can be replaced, and with what.. i don't like that it sits so high. any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Dizzy Posted April 1, 2011 Report Share Posted April 1, 2011 Aftermarket dials wont fit these watches from Josh/Andrew. The rep dial is way larger than a gen dial. I think you either settle for the cartel watch with maybe some minor mods, or go the distance and put serious money into it. Dizzy summed it up the problem (well, one of) with the cartel watches is the dial. if they could be swapped out with a good dial, it would make this a whole lot easier. anyway, narikaa is investigating other options, so we'll see what he comes up with. Baked and modded the dial and swapped in gold color, aged ETA hands. The dial looked like shiney plastic before with shiney yellow markers. Looks good now.
