Servicing Recommendations

Hello,

I am purchasing the PO 45 with Swiss Eta 2824-2 or Asia ETA 2836 movement and would love some advice on where to have it serviced, how much it costs, and the turn around time. I live in San Diego, CA.

There are a few good "forum trusted" watchsmiths in North America. For simple ETA servicing, you should drop The Katt a note, and I'd expect a week to ten days turn-around unless he's gotten a lt busier recently.

As for how much it would cost, it's never wise to guess how much someone else will charge you but a lot less than $100 shipping included is a safe bet.

This was last year, but Katt diagnosed, repaired, regulated, and return-shipped my Seagull ETA clone for less then 90 bux.

your costs may vary wildly from mine.

just wait till something breaks - IMHO not worth to have it serviced if its running fine ...

AD charges $250-300 US to service an ETA. there are some great rates on this forum. most ive been quoted here was $150 for a service and regulation.
