Nanuq
Mr. Allen Swift of Springfield, MA. received this 1928 Rolls-Royce Picadilly Phantom-1 Roadster from his father, brand new - as a graduation gift in 1928. He drove it up until his death in 2005 ... at the age of 102. He was the oldest living owner of a car from new, having driven this one 77 years. He donated it to a Springfield museum after his death. It has 170,000 miles on it, still runs like a Swiss watch, dead silent at any speed and is in perfect cosmetic condition. That's approximately 2000 miles per year. _brian_
Good one. I like the look on the face of Mr. Swift: "What the heck are you fiddling around with that camera!? Haven't you seen a car before, you a$$clown?" 77 years - it´s going to be the same with me and my slevin on rubber strap...
