oswald
I was going for the very used, war weary look...

oswald
Thanks Ubi! I think I need someone to tell me when to stop It's going into this case: so I want the whole vintage vibe to be unified... It's also getting a special vintage mov't: I'm hoping the rest of the watch will live up to the engine.

Watchmeister
I have the story to go with the watch. You found it in the inner hull of the wreckage of a two man sub. When you found it there was no crystal on it. How else would it have gotten so rusty. Seriously, I would clean it up a little. IMHO, it is not credible in that shape. You have a beautiful movement and what looks like a very nice case and crystal. If that is the dial there is no way the movement would even vaguely be intact. ryyannon
A double pepperoni with double chesse when you've got a minute, Oswald.....* *Hey, I just came back to this thread and I want to say that I'm not trying to be sarcastic here, Oswald....good for you for trying to do something special on your own - I don't think I'd be capable of doing as well. And when you finally create something totally great, you'll have the satisfaction of having done it yourself..... Best of luck, and keep up the good work!
