How to change face on a dial

It's not hard once you've done it a time to two. You remove the hands, release the dial pins (some use screws, others little "c" shaped clamps that you rotate out) and gently remove the dial. Some dials may be attached with double sided tape, so you need to slide a razor blade or something between the dial and the movement to loosen it. If all goes well, reassembly is the same procedure in reverse.

It's always nice to practice on another watch first. Good luck with your efforts.

if you plan on changing the dial (face) yourself, you need proper tools, steady hands and a little experience, otherwise you can quickly ruin your watch. The dial is usually affixed to the movement with dialfeet held by two small screws.

read this and check if you feel comfortable doing it yourself

It appears to cost more than 100 USD for such an operation here. Maybe a stupid question but do you think you are able to take On/off the hands with a tweezer or maybe with your finger nails? I really don't feel like buying a tool + shippment for only one time use.

If you don't use proper tools you will fcuk up your watch. Either take it up the a willing smith (though 100 usd is a rippoff), or invest in tools. In the rep game it is nice if you can handle these relative simple things yourself.
