Librarian Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 How easy is it to transplant a swiss eta into a Pam 048. It's a high beat MBK but I think I'm about to head down a franken route ... I've used the search function but had no luck with 40mm pams.

I'm not sure I fully understand you ('cos I'm a total noob here) but the 048 has seconds at 9 o'clock on a subdial. Is that the sundial you refer to?

The seconds hand at 9 of your A7750 will not fit the Swiss movement without modding. Mickey Padge Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 I went the Swiss route a few times with some projects in the past, but soon realised that you may as well just service the A7750, much better value and will run for years and years if done properly

I don't have the skills or the time for that amount of work - maybe in 20 years when the kids have moved out ...
