sneed12 Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 Depends.Which ETA movement, which datewheel, what do you want to do? Some Rolex movements turn the opposite way, so they won't work. Other movements, the datewheel can be sanded down to make it thinner and used as an overlay. There is no ETA movement on which the Rolex datewheels will simply install.
Martyd3 Posted June 13, 2011 Author Report Posted June 13, 2011 Understanding that it would need to be modded, are there any that turn the opposite way and mimic a 1680/1665 date wheel?
highoeyazmuhudee Posted June 13, 2011 Report Posted June 13, 2011 yes, i forget the case ref but gen datewheels with 1665 fonts and correct turning dates do exist, cheaply too
