I often find many broken/damaged watches for pennys around car boot sales.It's a shame for them to end up in the bin,so I usually buy them.

I've cleaned and oiled some of the movements here - few of them do not work (Rotary has a broken balance spoke, Oris - I didn't have time to look into what's wrong with it and the Cortebert,simply because i've never taken a bumper apart before and this one might be just to fancy for me to start learning on ;) ) .I didn't clean any of the outside plates, since i don't know what to use in order to preserve the rhodium plating on the plates.

These watches, even though tired by life can tick again or at least please the eye:
