horologik Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 Hi all, As you all know the Chronopassion is a scratch magnet. Does anyone have a fix for that? Thanks
Samurai Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 Didn't someone suggest using an eraser sometime back...and that it worked well?
vpx Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 Didn't someone suggest using an eraser sometime back...and that it worked well? Ink eraser, the one with pumice in it.
ubiquitous Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 Would be curious to see how refinishing the beadblasted case with the ink eraser looks. Seems like that would be a pretty difficult finish to blend...
plaifender Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 one of the only faults to the Chronopassion. If it wasn't bead blasted you could just take a refinishing pad to it
Mickey Padge Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 You cannot re-finish bead blasted titanium that I am aware of, the eraser trick works on matte finish ceramic cases though, really helped my old IWC Tog Gun in the past
beano2004 Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 the quickest solution would be to sell it to me.......
horologik Posted June 28, 2011 Author Report Posted June 28, 2011 There are no scratches as of yet. I am getting my Orchard Road back from Francisco. IF Chronopassion sees no wrist time...you will get PM! the quickest solution would be to sell it to me.......
