maxman Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=sn_aJ5OI4kU#at=96 I think It looks pretty good, what say you?
Watchmeister Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 Wow. I have no idea how accurate it is and whether it has the proper functionality but it looks great.
milesd Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 I think the next big thing that the factories need to work on is correct datewheels. It's amazing how much better a rep looks with the correct datewheel.
AstroAvia Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 Someone else has spotted two major flaws, ones that can not be neglected: the caseback that reads SWISS MAOE, and the strap that reads PORSOHE DESIGN. I think the chinese like the letter O!!! Definite deal breakers!
MADRED7 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 What a pitty....imagine you order a wedding cake and the baker puts "[censored] & LAURA" instead of "DIRK & LAURA" on it. Theo
maxman Posted July 18, 2011 Author Report Posted July 18, 2011 Im sure that the two flaws wont be present when they are actually send out the watch,I cant see the factories making huge mistakes like that and not correcting them. We will see.
newton78 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 Caseback says "WATER RESISTANT 120M", should be 1000m. Funny this Porsche-model seems to be a re-introduction of the 2005 Eterna "Kon Tiki Diver": http://www.ablogtoread.com/simply-named-eterna-kontiki-diver-is-amazing-and-heralds-eternas-return-to-the-usa/ The Kontiki did not get much attention back then, seems they now give it a second try with a Porsche-label (Eterna belongs to the Porsche Design group and produces all Porsche watches). For me I liked the Eterna-design better ....

We will see. Do you remember the Audemars Piguet Don Bamon and the Chopard Racing that read SECONOS on the subdial? To name a few...
MADRED7 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 Thats a cool ad....this convinced me to purchase it IF the obvious flaws will be deleeted. Theo
