Hey ya´ll :)

Thank you for a great forum. I have been lurking around here for a little while and have learnt much from reading your posts. After reading By Tor´s review of the Ebel Discovery Panda I went ahead and ordered one from Angus. It didn´t go through because they couldn´t get a hold of one for me. Finally, after looking around a lot, I decided to order a Skyland. Angus told me that the 1st version updated (as it is on his webpage) is in fact the V3. Can any of you verify that for me from the pictures below?

Is there anything in the pictures that you wouldn´t have bought yourself (if you were interested in a Skyland that is, hehe)? I also ordered a black leather strap with it but I don´t see it in the pictures. I should probably ask them about that, right? What about the 10 seconds a day issue? Is that bad? Could I ask them to adjust it for me or would you rather ask them to get another one?

Thank you very much for your help! Looking forward to get my new watch home :)

looks very good for a v3...

personally, i own all skyland colors - and prefer the v2s, too...but haven't checked to see if the dealers carry them still or not...

but don't worry, Kris - the v3 is a stunner and you'll enjoy it a lot...

don't be afraid to also try the grey dial out on brown leather staps - this color makes the dial really pop...more so, than the black leather, IMO...i'd also pick up a diver pro black leather strap for it for sporty wearing...

Thank you for your inputs, guys. I appreciate it! I didn´t know the difference between V2 and V3 and just went with the highest number :) I´m sure I´ll like it!

I´ll e-mail them back and let them know that it looks good. Would you have mentioned the 10 s/d? Hopefully I can buy a couple of leather straps later. What kind of tool do I need to swap the ss and the straps myself?

It's a very nice looking watch, I'm thinking of getting one too.

You can get a tool for taking off straps and such like. Look up Watch Bitz, they're here on the forum. I bought a full toolkit from them, surprisingly inexpensive and a whole bunch of top quality tools that will let you do just about anything to your watch, all inside a strong zip up case. Well worth it IMHO.
