005K h factory movment problems

just a question to you guys to see if any of you had this same problem .. my 005 k serial has been perfect until yesterday it felt as though something was moving around inside with a bit of mass .. so i opened the back and saw no problems but for some reason now it isnt keeping time ..its all over the place sometimes losing a half hour over the course of an hour and a half sometimes less. then sometimes its losing 5 min every 20 min and i have noticed the wheel stopped a few times when i had the back open ..

i love the watch but i have no idea what the deal is here i cannot figure out the loose mass inside moving around .. it feels like the movment moving around but it isnt ...and now the loss of time is frustrating ... and to top it off i scratched the back of the case pretty bad removing it because i was in a rush.

anyone know of a good replacment that will fit that is more accurate to the original movment ? already timed and ready to go ... high beat and possible swiss or really good asian.

yea i understand they are pretty bullet proof and i was hoping it was going to be one of the movment tabs but i checked them and it didnt seem like that .. but i will have a closer look because it does not make sense to have this movment work perfect then making a noise and now not keeping time... plus one thing i have not mentioned is that now winding it sounds a little louder and now so smooth as before .. it feels like the eta cotes movment i have just sitting in a case waiting for a watch ... maybe the winding thing was always there and im just being picky now because of the other problem.

thanks ! and if anyone else would like to chime in be my guest : )

cheers

Take a look and see if both the tabs are in place. Recently I assembled a watch(6497) that worked perfectly until I wore it to a game and was clapping and such. I only noticed it when I went to go look at the time and noticed it was off. I reset it and it worked fine. Then later, I looked again and it was off. Turned it over and the balance was not working. Turned it back over and noticed something moving around. Took the caseback off and noticed one of the plate screws had come loose and was bouncing around. Put it in its place and everything has been fine since.

Look at all the screws and make sure they are in place. if one is missing, it is probably your issue. Either way, good luck.

yea that was exactly the problem ... one of the screws were loose so the dial was moving out and jaming the second hand and stopping the watch... anyways that was fine .. fixed that but prior to that i removed the movement which required taking out the crown pin ... once i tried to reinstall (properly) and retightened the lever spring pin and the watch winds but will not allow me to set the time ... arrrr lol so now i have to take the hands and all off to see if somehow i messed something on the spring lever on the dial side where the pin screws in not allowing the lock out to happen in turn not allowing me to set the time .. [censored] lol ... but its a pretty simple movement i just do not have the tool to remove the hands so i have to order one ..pisses me off to have to wait for the tool to come to remove the hands so i can remove the dial ...

thanks guys for your input though it was correct and solved my problem.. \

cheers
