rboehme
I finally talked a friend of mine into letting me open up his "genuine italian replica" that he purchased from global replica a few months ago. I have told him that I did not believe that his watch was a Genuine Italian replica with a genuine italian 27 jewel movement. Let me say that this is one of the poorest quality reps I have seen. It is a gmt 2. The cyclops does not appear to have any magnification(maybe 1.5, and the glue is visible around the edges), the cg's are huge, there is no markings between the lugs, center links are solid, etc. All this for only $329. Here are some pics If any of the experts here know who makes this movement, I would like to know. There are no markings on it. Obviously it is a really cheap asian movement. rboehme
The movement is very poor quality. It takes quite a bit of effort to get the pendulum to swing all of the way around. I have a really cheap 13 jewel cn movement that is of far better quality.(it also was advertised as 27 jewels 6 years ago) Robert
