chris5264
While checking out the latest watch mag, I noticed that watch photos with a date function seemed to be set for the 28th far more than one would think by chance. I remember reading somewhere that for watch photos, ten after ten is typical because it looks kind of looks like a smile, but why the 28th for the date? Pugwash
While checking out the latest watch mag, I noticed that watch photos with a date function seemed to be set for the 28th far more than one would think by chance. I remember reading somewhere that for watch photos, ten after ten is typical because it looks kind of looks like a smile, but why the 28th for the date? Probably because it's the widest day of the month. Digital watches were set to 10:08 for this reason, which is also the smile time on analogue watches. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10:
KB
I'm guessing here, but maybe the 28th fills up the date view area better than any other number. Ken Looks like Puggy beat me to the punch
