They Sure Made Some Weird Watches In The 70's

I received this watch, the Omega Geneve Dynamic, for my high school graduation, although mine had a gold case and (in my opinion) much more interesting and attractive dial). I regret letting this watch go after it got severely water damaged, but at that time I didn't want to bear the expense of rehabbing it. I scan e-bay periodically, but the gold case with my dial apparently was a relatively rare version.

My father still has the SS version with the blue bulls eye dial, which looks better in person than in these photographs. Some day I will probably inherit it from him.

70's Watches

very strange and interesting designs, and for sale too if you feel like spending a big chunk of change on some not so pretty watches.

just thought some of you might enjoy the pics

I'm sure in 35 years that's what they'll say about some of the watches people ooh and aah about today.. Like the PAM 187....

I like 70's design a lot, they had new materials to play with and people were on acid. ;)

Great site!
