the_rymeister Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Hi guys I'm using an iPad to browse the forum and every time I go to rwg there is an annoying YouTube video covering the top half of the main forum page! Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried deleting history,cache ect but nothing seems to get rid of it.any help would be great.cheers guys. Ry

The way I understand it, Tapatalk only knows which posts you have viewed while using Tapatalk. If you switch back and forth between web browser and Tapa, then Tapa will not know which articles are genuinely "new" to you. I do use it to quickly see which articles I have participated in have received new replies.
plymman Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 It's great for checking new posts, viewing new responses to your posts etc.. If you're a member of several forums it's much simpler to manage your posts and keep up to date.

I just can't justify paying for something that already works for free in the browser on my iPad. Plus, I use my regular computer 80% of the time, so the out of sync new message issue would drive me crazy. (sent from Safari on the iPad.)
