lhooq
I'm not sure, B, though my eyes have been in poor shape this week. Is it the open '6'?
vlydog
Look at the the picture that has the watch sitting on the service papers. Under the heading: recommendations declined by customer, the first bullet point states (1-dial black.) In all the pictures, it is my opinion, that the watch has a service replacement dial. PeteM
Thanks B... Probably my eyes but the dial looks to have a water stain on it.... above the handstack and below the 12.... plus on the top/edge of the minute hand frame... But basically this watch was abused.... then probably bought cheap and refurbed to turn a profit?
ww12345
I don't think that is a water stain. I could be wrong, but that looks like a reflection of the camera lens in the plexi. Interesting that it is a service dial, though. tabularasa415
It has to be a service dial. It's simply marked "swiss." I can't say I've seen a dial like that on any 1665. Even the service dials I've seen are marked t swiss t 25. It's odd, and the pearl in the insert looks wonky too.
tabularasa415
Look at the picture with the reference number. The number itself is off-center. I've never seen a reference number stamped that far to the right.
praetor
so Rolex service center replaced the dial without the customer's consent anyways. Go figure.
