I have a CW21 certified watch maker in town who is incredibly busy and works on a ton of watches. He has a lot of accounts with jewelers in town, so he's constantly working. I agree with you, though, that they want to share their passion. We talk movements and brands for an hour sometimes. I feel the same way about the two 3 series my partner and I have. I primarily drive the e46 and he the e90. I think the e46 is a far superior car with much less expensive repairs. A water pump on the e46 is $400 at the shop (but I do it myself bc it's so easy). The e90's just went (classic BMW issue), but it's electronic and cost us a little over $1400!
