Advice on a gen

I've been thinking about getting another gen for a while now and considered either a Radiomir or a Marina (5,111,177). During my daily trawl of amazon, ebay, paneristi and other sites I stumbled across a rather nice 86 on ebay. What are your thoughts on this watch and how high would you go on bidding?

I'm assuming it is gen and would check the card and box but anything shout out as fake?

I'm not sure if the 086 is the best looking watch , grey/anthracite can be a very dull and a bit uninspiring as colour. I reckon there are better gens to be had

I love a base logo. So I would go with a 005 for my first gen. It can be easily and quickly flipped with little to no lost of $$$ if you buy used.

Whatever you do buy shop carefully to avoid downside if you ever want to sell. And as folks have said in terms of resaleability focus on the more classic models.

What about the 288? I've found a good deal on a new 288 for £4300. Ideally would love the 312 but it's hitting my limit on what I constitute as acceptable to spend on one watch . I think the 111 or 104 are my backup plan.

I've had a 111F for about 4-5 years now. Still my favorite gen watch. The best part is that it's worth about what I paid for it used ($3k). I will however have to get it serviced at some point so I'll figure that into my cost of ownership.

I just bought this new Rad Logo- on sale bit more than $4K USD. I's the cheapest PAM out there I think.

Not bad for Gen COSC-IMO. Also, came with black Calfskin strap, wasn't well received here. Just added this new Assolutamente. It does look nice.

$4K is not the cheapest PAM, even if you don't count Ferraris
