Rolexman Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 (edited) What a great looking watch. I wonder if the caseback is engraved? Kinda looks like it's etched..... http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...products_id=998 GOD DAMN IT!! Why not make the Evolution? I mean, the Chronomatic is a damn fine watch but compared to the EVO........ Edited October 26, 2006 by Rolexman
ubiquitous Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Looks great! Obviously, the movement is flipped in the case... I wonder how the pushers engage the stopwatch function/reset since they're now on the opposite side??
Devedander Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 4:00 starts/stops 2:00 resets is that how the real chrono works?
ubiquitous Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Well... Not exactly what I meant... I'd like to know how the pushers physically engage their respective functions? i.e. did they make some sort of extension to engage the functions from the opposite side of the case?
kanerich Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 I'm not nit-picking, just not sure. Is this watch supposed to have a date window at 6?
Watchmeister Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 This is kind of humorous. I see the title always wanting to read about new very accurate reps. The pushers are on the wrong side? The gen may or may not have a date at 6? It is nice looking though. Oh well, I do like Breitling but to date the only one I have bought is the ti Chrono Avenger.
Rolexman Posted October 26, 2006 Author Report Posted October 26, 2006 The pushers are on the wrong side? Oh are they?... I don't think so! Only thing missing is the date @ 6 true!
tonton2000 Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 the pushers are correct. Only missing a date @ 6. Actually a very nice rep, and very good how they managed to get the crown and pushers on the correct sides!
V Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Do you think they can add a date in the future? This is one of the few non-Panerai watches i would get...
tonton2000 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Do you think they can add a date in the future? This is one of the few non-Panerai watches i would get... Not with the lemania/venus movement, but maybe with a bastardized 7750?
V Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Not with the lemania/venus movement, but maybe with a bastardized 7750? The genuine is manual or automatic?
