I was watching Thunderball the other night and saw what I thought to be a Breitling on are favorite secret agents wrist.

I wasnt 100% sure...but I was maybe 80-85 % sure. After the movie I did a quick google search.... I found out that he was wearing a Breitling Top Time diver.

As far as I knew James Bond only wore three brands....Rolex Omega and Seiko.

But I see now that he has also worn a Breitling and a Hamilton (Pulsar). Not to mention a TAG Heuer In the Living Daylights and a Longines In Casino

Royal.

Here's a link with a little more Information. http://watchesinmovi...-of-james-bond/

Here's the Breitling he wore In Thunderball.........................and the Hamilton (Pulsar) he wore In.. Live and let die. The begining (1973) of the digital craze I suspect.

The Longines was on Le Chiffre's wrist, according to the websites and people with sharper eyes than mine.

Good catch...did not pick up on that.

Here'a a pretty cool video....I hate to admit it..but I like that pulsar.

I mean It's almost forty years old...not a bad design really... Imho at least.

I like the Pulsar, too, despite those evil-looking red LEDs. Other early electronics I wouldn't mind owning: The oddball LED/LCD Heuer Chronosplit (best Ferrari-branded watch ever!), and the Speedmaster Quartz. I still regret not buying a newly-serviced quartz Speedy for $450 last year...

Awesome thread, bro :good::drinks: I think my favorite Bond watch was the Seiko he wore in Octopussy. That was probably the first watch which truly caught my attention, and when I was younger, I had an ana/digi Casio with a similar display :)

Just watched Octopussy the other day (one of the free to air channels has been playing all the old bond movies every Thursday night). You have to remember that those Quartz displays were seriously futuristic 30 years ago when these movies were being made, it is a very recent idea that digital watches became passé via a very effective marketing campaign by the Swiss :)

That Seiko in Octopussy was seriously bad-ass. Now we know from where the Monster inherited its 'badass' genes :)

I saw it a couple of weeks ago, and managed to see that the tracking function was really the stopwatch, but it was seriously cool. Can't believe how much they sell for now though :bangin:
