Avax Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 Does anyone know where I could restore a 6263/65 vintage dial? Preferably in Europe. Thank you for your help.
Rolexaddict Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 http://www.atelierducadran.com/ Its located in Paris, France. If your dial is a good rep stamped Singer or Beyeler or a gen, they will do it. Don't send a bad rep one with vrong subdial spacing. But its expensive : Due to the large number of sticks, dots and fonts used, to assure an exact reproduction of your dial, they will first take a photo of your dial. They, engrave a plate, they re-print your dial by tempography process, and refinish sticks and lume dial photography : 180 euros refinishig : 150 euros
Guest oliviermenard92200 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 do you have picture before / after?
wiesn089 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 http://www.bethge-soehne.com/contact.php Bethge und Söhne are apparently very good at it, they will only refinish genuine dials however.
danielv2000 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 What about Canada or the USA? I always wondered where to find one. Thanks
freddy333 Posted November 28, 2011 Report Posted November 28, 2011 Not in Europe, but try here. I think you will find that, because they do contract work for the gen brands, most of the established professional dial restoration firms will only restore a gen dial.
