mbjoer Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 I have unsuccesfully tried to buy the AP RO Paris Boutique. It is such a great looking watch. In the process I had an exchange with Connie King (awsome response from her - almost replies before the message is sent... ) in which she suggested that a new 1:1 version might be on the way. Very interesting news! But still looking for a current version ......
Guest sharkrun20 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Posted December 13, 2011 A 1:1 version of the smaller Royal Oak Chronograph might be coming??
Watchmeister Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 It makes sense and that would be great news. Hope springs eternal.
mbjoer Posted December 27, 2011 Author Report Posted December 27, 2011 To me the size issue with the current rep is no problem. As the Gen is made in 50 copies only there as no chance that I would ever get to see one to compare a rep to. However I do hope that the new version will have super lume, top AR and deep engravings on the back. And that they will run a spell check on the case back... I suggested to Mrs King to pass on a message to the factory to show proto types of the watch here, so that silly and avoidable mistakes are avoided. But I do not think she quite understand the suggestion ..............
Jurgenk Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) This rumor seems to gain momentum... Could be a very interesting development Edited January 2, 2012 by Jurgenk
watchaddict Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 What ever became of this rumor? Are there still talks about a 1:1???
Jkay Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Is the "Paris Boutique" another name for the Chronopassion?
TheBattler Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 I think they are considering the new 41mm Royal Oak for replication, not the chrono as there is no suitable movement. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
