danielv2000
I constantly struggle to remove and, even more so , to reinstall spring bars. Any home-made tool I can use? Thanks
freddy333
With vintage models that have external lug holes, a paper clip works in a pinch. With modern models, you really need a springbar tool that is made for that type of case. All the watch supply shops sell them.
praetor
for my modern rolexes, a screwdriver works really well.
sneed12
I've had many springbar removal tools, but this is my favorite: I manage to break the tips on the fork-type springbar removal tools all the time. The fancy screw-caliper-style Bergeron tool is nicer, I've used it before, but I've never actually had one of my own.
wat44
or a spring bar tool from Offshore for next to nothing...
danielv2000
Love the paperclip! I just don't think it should take me more than 5mins to put a bracelet back on! I always thought the fork-type tool was a great idea. I guess not.
