daytona01 Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 It seems like no one actually tried buying new ceramic daytonas (at least on this Rolex Area...), so I wanna give a try. I'm too noob to write a review of it, so I just wanna share some pics of it Its got cheap 21J movn't with faux subdials @ 3,9. Enjoy This watch comes wit daytona deployment(?) buckle, but my wrist was too skinny for its original strap... I changed it hirsch modena. Rehaut engraving alignments are OK, but position is little low. # indices are smaller than gen. 2,11 are touching subdials on gen. I chose to buy this watch becuz of its thickness... its less than 13mm. Crown position too low
freddy333 Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 CGs are slightly off & hard to tell more without good, clear macro pics, but the rest looks pretty good. Here is a gen for comparison
mikellem Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 I think it's dressy and I like the color combination.... I don't believe all replicas have to be perfect to have fun with them... Enjoy your new watch... MM
OceanView Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 wow, looks better than I had imagined it to be. Thanks for the pics
daytona01 Posted December 18, 2011 Author Report Posted December 18, 2011 (edited) subdials @ 3,9 are faux but they move once(?) everyday. idk their functions, but I can always push them back to original position Edited December 18, 2011 by daytona01
Jkay Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 subdials @ 3,9 are faux but they move once(?) everyday. idk their functions, but I can always push them back to original position Probably "Day of the Week" and "Date" ... that's standard stuff.
LeSentier Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 one should kill the central seconds hand - if possible. other then that, it looks great! enjoy!
