Looks great. Just wondering why you went with the noob? I'm looking to buy one but I'm not sure which version is better.

Wow, great looking watch. I would love to buy this watch buy I already have 2 versions of the diver and I don't think I could pull off a gen of this watch with the car I'm driving at the moment. But I'm very tempted.

I've heard both good and bad experiences with the modified movement. I just don't want to take a chance on a $500 watch though.

This is really a great looking watch. I wish they had a metal bracelet option. If so I would love to get one of these bad boys.

Looks good to me. The ICHS is a minor flaw that's really that noticeable in real life. Hell I use to have a GEN GMTIIc and I never noticed it let alone even knew what it was.

While I wait for the Diver v3 or v4 to be released, I have been looking at alternative AP's and I noticed this new one. http://www.puretime.co/product/royal-oak-offshore-ultimate-chronopassion-v5-grey-dial-on-black-rubber-strap-a7750/ I'm fairly new to AP's and I do not know the tells on this watch. So I thought I would ask you guys to see how this new model is compared to the Gen. Thoughts?

So on the GEN straps the grooves are continuous? Then the OP's straps are ?

It seems like the Noob factory is only running partially as the flow of watches seemed to be trickling. Hope its only temporarily as Xmas season is starting up, there should be more products to buy.

For people that own this watch, did you seal the watch for water resistance? Is it needed on this watch?

thanks for a great review. I'm curous as to how long these are back ordered for. I sent both Angus and Toro a message but they just give a back ordered message and do not give me an ETA on when the next batch would be in. For those that have back ordered, how long have you been waiting?

I wonder if there is any truth to this or if it is some kind of deterrent so that people would not order the current model due to Andrew not having access to it.

OP, what is your wrist size? I hope its smaller than 6.75 inches, otherwise I will have to do the same and get a Gen strap.
