robertk Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 A column written in an entrainment blog about watches : http://www.thewrap.com/media/blog-post/wanna-buy-watch-how-guide-christmas-33742
maxman Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Interesting read to say the least...thanks for sharing Robert. I get the feeling if McAlevey were to be a member here...he would be considered a noob. Mike
txcollector Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Interesting, I'm not familiar with this high end brand called Bruget.

PhilFree Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 The article wasn't written that well in my opinion. Perhaps, if I was just being introduced to the world of watches I might have found it interesting. However, that not being the case I wasn't to interested in the article.

I agree, the guy seems more like a guy that resent others and has no clue about watches. I stopped reading after the first page.
spooky driver Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Well I found it slightly amusing....thanks for sharing
Watchmeister Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 It was pretty funny. I feel like he knows less than when he started his watch odyssey.
robertk Posted December 19, 2011 Author Report Posted December 19, 2011 Well, consider how many people read that and considered what he had to say to be knowledgeable and it helped them make a choice??!!
tabularasa415 Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 "the new babe in town, the mechanical watch". Ummmm.... Someone wanna buy this guy a clue. I like how he basically dismisses Rolex. It then goes on to tote his over-priced quartz-powered Cartier.
