Welcome to the club! I have the same combo. Most comfortable strap I've owned and perfect with the 5

Plus if you get a desk diving scrape on it, a couple of seconds of rubbing the area with your thumb makes it good as new.

It develops a nice patina after a short time.

+1 from me. Mine's from Kuvarsit and I have it on my Noob 111M. Feel and build quality is very comparable to my OEM alligator strap.
