Doc
Love the look of the UN Black Sea. The new rep has a black PVD surface and not the rubberized surface of the gen. Is it unlikely to be done with a rep and just live with what is now available or wait for an upgraded rubberized rep? Too difficult to copy? Thanks for input. mikellem
i will say this...They may make it and they may not. They don't sell tons of those watches, so it's hard to say.. If you are anxious like i would be, I would just go for whats out! You could always sell it on the forum if they come out with a version you like better.. Good Luck , MM

van_damme1988
I fully understand your passion for UN. I think you cannot go wrong with it. I received the night before christmas these MMDC and i was blown away with its quality. All Diver series are just perfect. I would hit that
TeeJay
I think there's a product called plasti-dip (might be wrong on the name) which is a rubberizing treatment, might it be possible to get the PVD and then put the parts through the dip? maxman
I have the Maxie Diver 45mm that has been a rock solid timekeeper for about 2 1/2 years. The 23j has a 40 plus power reserve It also has one of the tightest and smoothest bezels of all my reps....nice firm clicks. The overal case construction In really quite good. for the money they are hard to beat... Imho anyway. Mike
Doc
Thanks for the comments guys. I have one MMD and love it. Think I will just spring for the Black Sea as is and upgrade if a rubberized version is done. My problem with upgrading to a newer better version is I then wear the old one more so I keep the new one 'nice!' Same issue with gens---they stay in the drawer and the reps get worn.
