sishac
I should say that my digital caliper keeps on coming up with a size of 6.6mm, not 7mm:
Ronin
They are NOT traditional 703 with crimped/pressed inside edges. They look like like the newer 704/mono-block design. That last picture however, does not look right to me, and could be aftermarket. Without a side-by-side, some might be GEN 704 or look to be what BK was supplying on WM9's. sishac
The seller states that two are 703 for SMS sub, and one is a 750 crown. I can live with the 704 on my 5513.
modelizer
Well, they are definitely not 703's as they are mono-block. Just like Ronin says the mono-block crowns go by the part number 704. If they are gen or not is something that I leave to the experts to decide. But if gen, then I can vouch for them being great, reliable crowns (have two installed in my collection). theapexseal
Please explain for the noobs here..by monoblock you guys are referring to the fact that the crown itself, and the stem attachment were milled out of one single piece of steel (i.e. there is no seam on the inside of the crown) right? alligoat
The crown itself would be a single piece of stainless steel. The stem still attaches to it separately. The 703 was wrapped, SS over a base metal and crimped at the bottom. The stem still attaches to it separately.
