madonna
Any comments on my SMP "007 special edition" from Ruby? Have the HEV in a better position ( Not at 10h position, more like 51-52min position ) and Bezel correctly aligned. Pearl probably not so good. Swiss ETA. "Shop tag" and warranty card was included also. On last pic you can see it even have the very small serialnr in place. (Ruby took these photos of my watch to confirm that it was one I wanted before shipping it)
Slartibartfast
The position of the He valve is particularly good. This was always the big give away with the SMP reps. Second hand has a good length counterbalance as on the original. Nice watch! I bet you're pleased with this, enjoy it.
marrickvilleboy
although it resembles the older model, it isn't. The quality of the bracelet is far inferior and the crystal has no AR, causing distortion when seen from different angles. The bezel insert is cheap thin metal and the crown is horrible. sorry for the nitpicking but it is not the same as the older models.
Mickey Padge
I was under the impression that the older version and the best Omega 007 I have ever seen, was the one with the ETA 2892 movement, same as the genuine. How I regret not buying that watch at the time it was available. Does anyone have some archive pictures of that watch? Or better yet, does anybody have the watch itself to take pictures of? That would be a blast from the past..........
marrickvilleboy
yeah, here are two links of the older models, one of them is mine, although mine has been upgraded with some genuine parts e.g omega 1120 movement, bezel insert, crown and crown tube, etc. It is still based from the old model. 007 Limited edition bazz's 007 limited edition enjoy the pictures...probably never will we again see such good quality...very sad...
