You say it's w/o crown guard.. I see a crown guard unless I am missing something here! ;)

1. Can you show the caseback? You say it's transparent but I don't see it.

2. In your pics I see C/G. Why are you saying there is not one?

3. The gen pic I posted is the 241. Unfortunately the rep oneI posted is not. The hands are different. So far the only difference I see between yours and the 241 is none unless the caseback is indeed transparent. Can you double check and also post pics or say what it says on it.

it's a fake one. So any inconsistencies with the real one such as the polished case and the see-thru back are ok. When this watch was made at a rep factory the reps weren't as accurate and most importantly they did not have the real one as a reference, which seems to be the case today with most Panerai (at leat the latest).

So what you have is a non-acccurate 241 fako.

Agreed with above, this is a fantasy 44 mm version of the venerable 40 mm 241, there is no 44 mm equivalent model.

I would contact WBK

He has occasionally sold a21j based PR reps

Cheaper to just replace, about $100

Fixed! The rotor was misaligned and the hands was too tight, and also the hands ware somewhat crooked :) all good now.

Great watch to work on if your starting out with watches, so easy to see where everything should be :)

Polished it and it came out great, took the AR off with some polish too. Now i got a great beater :D absolutely not my last Pam.

Damn, that thing looks way better now.

Had to be an skilled WS who did that! B) .... (It was me :lol2: )

Like Pisko said, it was just the rotor that was out of place a bit, and it badly needed a cleaning and buffing. The rotor looks way worse then it is in the first pictures, due to old glue from the plate that should be there with the Panerai text. We cleaned it, and glued the piece back on, so it's shiny and goodlooking now.

Was my first time doing something major like this. We took it all apart, took hands off, cleaned the whole case and took the blue AR off with some Autosol. IMO, the result is great.
