nleap Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Hey all! I bought a BK sub and it has worked wonderfully for several years but accidently dropped it the other day and need to get it repaired. Where would you suggest I go? Thanks all!
FxrAndy Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 All depends on what movement and where you are in the world
duke1973 Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 I've used Katt's watch repair and CLS watch repair with GREAT results. Both were Asian ETA 2836's that were repaired with geniune ETA parts. The prices were very fair and turnaround times VERY good.
nleap Posted January 22, 2012 Author Report Posted January 22, 2012 I live in the US in New Hampshire, but of couse willing to ship if need be. Where is Katt's watch repair or CLS watch repair?
nleap Posted January 23, 2012 Author Report Posted January 23, 2012 I actually have several other watches that either need repair or tune up. Does anybody know where I can send those?
Jkay Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Send mail to Katt's Watch repair ... GKLONER at GMAIL dot COM and describe what you have to send him, and he'll let you know if he can help you. Generally he will work on anything but 7750 and 7753 movements. edited for errors

Best repair service I've ever received!! Katt is the best and super nice to boot.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Jkay Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Oh my gosh I just realized I mistyped that email address ... I edited my own post and fixed it ...
nleap Posted January 24, 2012 Author Report Posted January 24, 2012 sounds awesome! I will definitely send him an email. He won't work on any Cronographs? I thought a majority of those use the 7750 movement. isn't that bread and butter movement thats in the majority of our watches?
Jkay Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 No. Most replicas have the simple workhorse ETA 2836, 2824, 6497, and chinese clones of the japanese Citizen Watch Co movements (a21j family). Three handed watches are the base of the watch industry, not 6 handed chrono movements.
Kinskeys Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 (edited) Try MD2020, he fix my 116610 for under $25 & it was done in just a few days plus he's in the conus Edited February 3, 2013 by Kinskeys
Tonyyammine Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Did he send it to Katt and did he share feedback?
Jkay Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 People who use Katt's repair normally post to his area on RWI, where he's a trusted watch tech.
