Building a franken 1665 DRSD (sans gen dial, of course!)

GIven the current market price for a DRSD dial, it's quite obvious that it will have to be aftermarket.

Although I have a nice old-school MBW DRSD with a NDT dial and a very reliable Swiss ETA, I am longing for something powered by a gen 1570. It's a real shame as PB did amazing work on that dial. Add the beautiful Franken 1665 that Basketbob built and my desire is further accentuated!!! Although I might build a GW 1665 one day, it's the Double-Red that grabs my attention. It's the Double-Red that brought me here. The Submariner was always a nice watch until I discovered the SeaDweller. It's lack of cyclops and rugged look made it my favorite (until I discovered the Daytona, of course!) Hours spent on doubleredseadweller.com eventually led me to this community of fine watches and, fine, knowledgeable people.

Here is Ingod's current offering of the DRSD dial.

What do you guys think? Is there anything better out there? What can be done to improve it?

Thanks

My advice is to ask Ingod for actual pics.

His stock pics not always represent the item you'll get.

All Ingod dials I've seen so far a considerably good quality compared to rep or yuki dials.

His email is

marsaktive@gmail.com

Hope this is a little help

Try NDT, which are for me, a better quality than Ingod. More expensive. Yuki is a no go to me...

I have a NDT dial currently on my ETA but the spacing of the fonts is a little off - maybe only WIS would notice but he'll, tharen why we build Frankens!

@ Akira, thanks. I will definitely do that to make sure there are no surprises in the event I go with him.

Not to rain in your parade but ingods dials ate better than ndt

There are exceptions, but, generally, I agree.

I think the dial posted at the beginning of this thread is about the best aftermarket I have seen. It may in fact be similar to the (modded) dial in my watch
