Actually, i had spotted these on the Bay the other night. they do look quite good, but not in the same ballpark as a SF Sub dial IMHO! asimplefarmer & woof - Yep, those casebacks do look really stunning as well! I think all the various snowflake models has the ridge around the threading just like you say. But for the earlier Tudor rose sub (7928) this case back (that used to be yours ) is correct. jmb Posted February 14, 2012 Report Share Posted February 14, 2012 sgtguk - I played with one of these sterile cases a bit today. Like I said, no gen bezel construction (uses wire clip) but not really that big a deal - just makes fitting a different crystal a bit harder. The case came with a cyclope crystal with the magnifier in the "Tudor position" so I popped it out and found a T21 drops right into the slot so I will likely glue that in there and assemble it with a 7928 dial and see what it looks like.
