Limestone Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Ok guys. Not going to do a write up here, so I just past a link to Ariels blog because he describes this well.. But In short, Haldimann releases a watch that only has a movement, no dial or nothing.. you´r only supposed to listen to the ticking for $150.000.. The most stupid thing ever
mastrmindalliance Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Yeah. I have trouble getting the hands back on too. 0_o
modelizer Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 You are absolutely right henrik.. That must be one of the most stupid things ever.. I mean WTF?!
gran Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) I think it is a great idea....only the wearer knows its significance....its the inverse of " The Emperor's New Clothes" "time can thus be imagined, dreamed, or invented." Besides this is the easiest watch to replica ever...bring on the 1:1 "The presence of this watch is captivating: a black hole on my wrist, sucking up my gaze." Edited February 15, 2012 by Gran 1

Limestone Posted February 15, 2012 Author Report Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) Besides this is the easiest watch to replica ever...bring on the 1:1 True that.. so that all non-watch-lovers can laugh at you rocking a stupid $1000 "non-watch-tourbillon-rep" of an even more stupid $150.000 "non-watch-tourbillon" HAHA Hey Gran, Can I hire you when I´m in need of expert Google Image search.. TeeJay Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 Absolutely love it :tu: I get the joke for the insult/two fingers up to elitist watch collectors that it is, it's the same spirit as my plastic submariner, just on a much more expensive scale
Limestone Posted February 15, 2012 Author Report Posted February 15, 2012 Interesting Yea, I like the last one in the vid.. the one with the "double tourbi" But man does he have fat arms... I mean , he has the strap on the first pin and still it´s not loose on him..

Utheman Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 (Drumroll-Rimshot) cool link ..... I mean, this "Listen" would be appropriate for a rich blind person....

I mean , he has the strap on the first pin and still it´s not loose on him.. I believe the strap Is on the second to last hole ..at the 5:47... still...those do look like some pretty big wrist. That wrist actually looks familiar.
