chris9
Hi there, I need a new white faced chrono to add to my collection, exchange rate $0.82NZ makes buying both watches way too much! Which way should a boy go? Panerai 188 H Daylite SS/LE White or AP ROO Safari with leather???? Love the look of both. As any new noob should do, I have been reading through the RWG files. The ROO movement appears to be a possible weakness and this has left me a little unsure about reliability. "first select your dealer...." I will buy from Andrew @ Trustytime, so have no worries about the dealer. $400-600 is a lot of money to spend, your collective wisdom is much appreciated. Thanks. . Watchmeister
I would go for AP Safari or PAM 188. But that is just personal preference.
ExtraExtra
I pick 2 - daylight and SA. However, I recently picked up a white Breilting Legende...its such a beautiful watch that it stayed on my wrist for 4 weeks.
maxman
I like all the above examples This Cartier Santos with the A7753 has caught my eye resently....classy watch.
chris9
Thanks for all the replies.... All great options. My main concern was with the 7750 movement in the AP ROO Chrono with Sec@12. Lots of posts on how fragile it can be. $500 a lot to spend on a potential lemon! Still leaning towards the Pam 188 H or is it the AP Safari, or the Ebel...... Just got my DSSD V7 from PureTime, under $200US and with only a few minor tells. Great value for the money. Thanks again.
