yellomen
Hi guys, I have a heavily modded MBW 1665, however it still has an old ETA mvt inside. I would love to get a gen 1570 caliber in that watch to complete it. But who in the EU can do this?

cib0rgman
if you have a 1570 wit the correct date wheel ring and are skilled you can do that easily. Also you need an Ingod dial tpo ice the cake no need to glue it as the feet are Gen specs
jmb
JB-Weld?
yellomen
I've been out for such a long time, that "Ingod dial" doesn't sound familiar and I have no clue about JB-Weld. I guess I need somebody whom I can hand over the MBW 1665 and let him do his thing. I'll post some pix and a list of what has been done to my 1665. And than hopefully I'll get the correct tips of what to do next.
Valty
Be careful, nothing says it will be easy to fit a gen 1570 into a MBW case. I remember some threads, and it seemed not so easy some times... I see more projects with Phong case instead of MBW when we are talking about gen movement I am doing the same project as you, but I will go Phong, the case is better constructed anyway R. Valty
Well I have a MBW with a 1570 movement... I never said it's impossible, I guess I have read the case needs a little of work to accept the movement... But maybe I'm wrong, it's just a memory read I suppose any experienced WM can make the movement fit without difficulties
