Nice comparison , not ever owning either gen or rep I dunno which is which , given the lugs I;d of said the top one , but the missing bezel makes me think 2 is the Gen

I'd say the bottom one with the recessed HEV is the new one. The middle is the SSD. And by elimination, the top is gen.
