arniezac Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Just reported this. http://www.ebay.co.u..._fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 The usual story, no box, no receipt, no papers, poor backstory. I've left the plastic wrap on the braclet for 2 1/2 years though, just to keep it nice and shiny
krpster Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 That one is horrible. I really like the Swiss and japan movement Reported.
PhilFree Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 I guess her husband never told her he bought a replica.
vandal.tbh Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Amazes me that so many people will bid on something like this...
sgtguk Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 @ vandal - aren't you glad you know the difference eh Not good karma mate selling reps as Gen
vandal.tbh Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 @ vandal - aren't you glad you know the difference eh Not good karma mate selling reps as Gen Not at all, and yes, I am glad I know. But what really shocks me is that you'd think someone who was willing to fork out thousands of dollars on a watch would do some homework to ensure they knew what they were paying for. This listing even states "Japan Movement" right in the listing, and it still has 5 bids. Who bids on what they think is an Omega and doesn't know that Omega doesn't have Japan movements? I hate to see someone get ripped off, but some people just don't deserve their money.
sgtguk Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 I have just had a good chat with the seller and tried to make 'her' see sense to no avail I might add she still insists it is Gen Not my money fortunately but like you say 'some people don't deserve their money', gotta say it 'there's one born every minute' though! Leave it to the gods on the bay then
the_rymeister Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Unbelievable the pearl is terrible , like everyone has already said its crazy to think people actually bid on these items they clearly don't know the first thing about, so glad I found rwg

This site has taught me a tonne about replicas. I have also gotten some great deals on straps. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Adeodatus Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) - Dear, I was going through our bank statement, what is 3000$ at "buyh00kersonline" - Umm ahh, it's ... You see, I just bought this Omega Planet Ocean, dear, from a local store, a very expensive watch... - we can't afford it, mister! I'm selling it on ebay! - Mmm... K... Jkay Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 This is that bad version that says PLANET O C E A N ... terrible spacing on the back cover. It should say PLANET OCEAN ... all caps but the first letter of each word in a larger font.
the_rymeister Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 It's on £740 already!! I couldn't even sell my franken upo with gen parts for anything near that
vandal.tbh Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 I reported it again to eBay. Not sure why they haven't taken it down.
arniezac Posted April 17, 2012 Author Report Posted April 17, 2012 Good old Ebay. You'd think they'd take the de-frauding of its members a bit more seriously. Hope I can get in touch with the buyer providing they leave feedback and at least inform them of their error.
