It's always going to look big. Get it and enjoy it. I see so many people these days wearing uboats and TW steel's which are 50mm watches so I really wouldn't stress about the "lungs over wrist" saying. It is a large watch but IMHO it doesn't wear silly. It's a gorgeous watch that looks great both casual or formal.
