By-Tor
What a fantastic watch Alex!!! Great choice, and great pictures! The hour markers look great. I actually prefer the white hour markers instead of the "yellowish" ones that I had on my MBW 1680. Both look correct though... these vintages age differently. If I had to choose a vintage Rolex again it would be this model without a doubt. Congrats my friend!!!
Tribal
Nice watch and great work from Tommy... Replace the Datewheel to a bolder one... Pic up a gen Insert and its perfect... Look at Sherringtons or my Sd... The bold font on the date and a gen Insert makes much difference.. Edited November 5, 2006 by Tribal
Alextor
Nice watch and great work from Tommy... Replace the Datewheel to a bolder one... Pic up a gen Insert and its perfect... Look at Sherringtons or my Sd... The bold font on the date and a gen Insert makes much difference.. Thanks guys...! your opinions are always appreciated... @ Tribal...That is exactly right! I could not source a datewheel with a bolder font but I'm definitely in the lookout ...same with the insert... but as By Tor says this is one of THE vintages to have. @ By Tor...Thank you! your advice has always been spot on... and this has not been an exception Cheers!
