Greddyl30pjg
Hi guys. Looking to buy a nice dressy watch for work as most of mine are on rubber straps (pam 026, 253, Ap rc, diver & omega po). Really like the 288 and have done for a while now so thinking of taking the plunge. The only thing that concerns me is the size, I'm worried it may be too large having viewed a few pics (reviews give contradictory info, some says it wears large others say it wears small for 45mm). My pam 026 is perfect for my 7" wrist, the 253 is fine too but doesn't sit as comfortably. Does anyone know how the 288 wears in comparison to the 2 mentioned above?? Lugs do look like they stick out a good way... Wristies welcomed! Thanks in advance guys.
projectologist
The 288 doesn't look appreciably bigger than a 44mm Luminor since it doesn't have the additional width of a cg.
Adeodatus
I think it looks smaller (since no CG), but the case is thick, so if you have a skinny wrist it may look too large for you. I have almost exactly a 7'' wrist - this is how it looks on mine
Greddyl30pjg
Cheers for the replies and the wrist shots guys...ummm those lugs do stick out the top/ bottom quite far. Dont like it when they over hang the wrist, really on the fence.....
asciwhite
Listen. I have 6.7" Wrists and the 288K is a good size for me. So it should be for you!! I love it.... This is a 47mm RXW MM20... Still good.... Another large one. Still no overhang
Adeodatus
ASCI, I'm shocked how good the 47" looks on your wrist. Hmmm... maybe I should try the 127 some time...

And if you feel it does not suit you, you can always sell it
Mike on a bike
Thickness counts, although the shots do look good on the guys with around your size I think you might find it chunky. At about 8.75in I can wear anything (except small like Rolex) & still find anything over 15mm just does not sit right.
Serge D
Just bought myself 288k, shipped today so cant advise on the size. But the 029 and 253 are nice watches to get leather straps for, they can be dressy as well. Its amazing how a strap can change the way you feel about a watch.
